I'd like to extend a warm welcome to my fellow western premiers as we meet in Lloydminister from May 4 to 6.

I'm proud to host the 2005 Western Premiers' Conference in our province's centennial year.

Lloydminster is the perfect location for this conference since it straddles the border between Alberta and Saskatchewan, which also celebrates its Centennial this year!

Alberta has many unique places like Lloydminster and I invite delegates to explore our province and take in some of the many events going on during our centennial year.
